A long expected event took place on last Sunday August 1st at the unique location of one of Berlin’s finest restaurants, ‘The Garden Villa’.

Well, we all weren’t really surprised by the wedding announcement of the very well known bear couple Burnadette and Gregory. In the opinion of our Fofurree friends they were meant for each other from the first moment on. Therefore none of us has been astonished about their engagement last Christmas and the logic conclusion was a marriage.

The most beautiful bear bride you can imagine, wearing a dress designed by Bearmani, appeared with her stylish groom in a romantic white carriage. With much pleasure our fabulous rabbit friend Zackary from came over the long way from Canada just to be the coach-man. He rode the wedding coach with elegance and style wearing a fantastic tux. Even the horsey looked fine.

The extraordinary wedding ceremony took place in the restaurant’s beautiful garden scenery. Many of our Fofurrees have been able to attend. So Barry Bear, the envoy of Good Bear God Mother Doris, made his wedding speech in front of a big wedding party.

Her brother, Snuffy Norton-Bearmani (the well known bear fashion designer) himself escorted Burnie to the wedding altar. He tenderly handed over his sister’s gentle paw to the excited waiting groom Greg.

When it came to the ‘Big Question’ Burnie, the beautiful bride nearly lost her voice. This was one of the most touching moments when she whispered, encouraged by her smiling brother, “yes, I will”! When Greg put on the wedding ring to Burnie, some tears felt down on his paw. The bride was so deeply moved by this moment, she couldn’t hold back her tears.

But as soon as she got her wedding ring on her paw, a bright smile appeared on her cute face. An also glowing groom bended to his bride… and then he kissed her! What an amazing moment! The whole bunch of guests applauded enthusiastic!

After the deeply emotional wedding ceremony, coachman Zackary drove up with the wed-ding carriage and bride and groom went to ‘The Garden Villa’ where the big wedding dinner took place.

Everyone enjoyed the delicious wedding meal created by Chef Zackary Rabbit himself (yes the coachman is a fabulous chef, too!)! Many toasts were brought up and then the party started over when Greg and Burnie started with an original Vienna Walze!

Well, we danced the night away; none even noticed when the young couple tiptoed away secretly. They just left a nice sign: “We are up and away on cloud no 9 into 7th Heaven on our Honeymoon”!
